Privacy Policy

Data controller

The data controller for this website is István Zoltán Nagy, sole proprietor (egyéni vállalkozó), registration number 61510395, with registered address at 1027 Budapest, Kapás utca 24, Hungary. For any privacy-related questions, you can reach me at contact@quietradiance.space.

What data is collected

Depending on how you interact with this website, I may process the following categories of personal data:

  • Contact details: your name and email address, provided when you use the contact form, book a session, or sign up for notifications.
  • Booking and payment metadata: session date, time, and payment confirmation details processed through Cal.com and Stripe. I do not store your full payment card details.
  • Communications: the content of messages you send through the contact form or by email.
  • Technical and usage data: anonymised, aggregate website usage statistics collected through Vercel Web Analytics, and limited technical error diagnostics (such as error message, stack trace, page URL, timestamp, and browser/device metadata) collected through Sentry for reliability and incident response.

Purposes and legal bases

Personal data is processed for the following purposes, each with the corresponding legal basis under the GDPR:

  • Providing services: to manage bookings, deliver sessions, and send confirmations (legal basis: performance of a contract).
  • Responding to enquiries: to reply to messages sent through the contact form or email (legal basis: legitimate interest).
  • Sending updates: if you opt in to receive email updates about offerings and meditations (legal basis: consent).
  • Legal and accounting obligations: to fulfil record-keeping requirements under Hungarian law (legal basis: legal obligation).
  • Website improvement: to understand how the website is used through anonymised analytics (legal basis: legitimate interest).
  • Security and reliability: to detect, investigate, and resolve technical incidents and service errors (legal basis: legitimate interest).

Where processing is based on legitimate interest, the interest pursued is operating a secure, reliable website and service while minimising personal data processed for diagnostics.

Service providers (processors)

I use the following third-party services, each of which processes data on my behalf and under appropriate agreements:

  • Cal.com — booking and scheduling
  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Brevo — contact form delivery and email communications
  • Vercel — website hosting and privacy-friendly, cookieless Web Analytics
  • Sentry — error monitoring and incident diagnostics

International data transfers

Some of the service providers listed above may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, transfers are carried out under appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and/or other lawful transfer mechanisms described by the provider (for example, in the provider's Data Processing Addendum), in accordance with GDPR requirements.

Data retention

Personal data is retained for as long as necessary to provide the services you have requested, fulfil legal and accounting obligations, and handle any disputes. Error-monitoring events are kept only for a limited retention period in Sentry and then deleted according to configured retention settings. When data is no longer needed for these purposes, it is securely deleted.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data; to restrict or object to certain processing; to receive your data in a portable format; and to withdraw consent at any time where consent is the basis for processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Hungary, this is the Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság (NAIH).

To exercise any of these rights, please email contact@quietradiance.space.

Terms of Service

Nature of the services

Quiet Radiance offers spiritual sessions, meditation gatherings, and related offerings conducted online. These services are intended as spiritual and meditative support for personal growth and inner development. They are not medical, psychological, or psychiatric treatment, and are not a substitute for professional healthcare. If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, please contact a qualified professional or emergency service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to book or participate in any paid session. By booking, you confirm that the information you provide is truthful and complete.

Booking and payment

Sessions are booked through Cal.com and payments are processed securely through Stripe. By completing a booking, you agree to the terms of the relevant payment provider in addition to these terms.

Country availability

Services are offered in jurisdictions where providing them is lawful. The operator reserves the right to decline or cancel a booking if fulfilling it would violate applicable law in the client's or the operator's jurisdiction.

Limitation of liability

Participation in sessions and meditation gatherings is voluntary and at your own discretion. To the fullest extent permitted by law, István Zoltán Nagy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or participation in any session or gathering. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Hungary. Any disputes arising from these terms or the use of Quiet Radiance services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Hungary.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellations and rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule a private one-to-one online session, please let me know at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellation requests received with at least 48 hours' notice are eligible for a full refund, returned to your original payment method, minus any payment processing fees that were incurred.

Late cancellations and no-shows

If you cancel with less than 48 hours' notice or do not attend your session, no refund will be issued. The session fee is non-transferable, and a rescheduled slot is not guaranteed. However, if you cancel within the 48-hour window and the original time slot is subsequently filled, a reschedule or partial refund may be offered at my discretion as a courtesy.

Free events and donations

Free meditation gatherings do not require payment and are not subject to this cancellation policy. Donations are voluntary, given without expectation, and are non-refundable.

How to request a refund

To request a refund, send an email to contact@quietradiance.space with the following details:

  • Subject line: Refund Request — [Your Name / Session Date]
  • Include: your full name and the date and time of the session
